Job Overview: We are seeking a motivated and experienced Sales Agent to join our team on a commission-only basis. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales of the Oceanaut Marine Management System. You will play a critical role in expanding our customer base and increasing market penetration. This position is perfect for a self-starter who thrives in a commission-based environment and is passionate about the maritime industry.
Responsibilities:
- Lead Generation: Identify and target potential customers, including shipowners, maritime operators, and other stakeholders in the marine industry.
- Sales Process: Conduct product demonstrations, presentations, and negotiations to convert leads into customers.
- Relationship Building: Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing them with the support and information needed to understand the benefits of Oceanaut.
- Market Analysis: Stay updated on market trends, competitor offerings, and industry regulations to effectively position Oceanaut in the market.
- Reporting: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and forecasts. Provide regular updates to the management team.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the product development and customer support teams to ensure customer satisfaction and continuous product improvement.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in sales, preferably in the maritime or software industry.
- Strong understanding of marine management systems, maritime regulations, or related fields is a plus.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage your sales pipeline effectively.
- Results-driven with a strong focus on achieving sales targets.
- Proficient in using CRM software and other sales tools.
Compensation: This position is commission-only, with lucrative commission rates based on sales performance. The more you sell, the more you earn. There is no base salary, but the earning potential is unlimited for top performers.
