How do we get our jobs included on OceanTech Jobs?

You can post jobs directly to OceanTech Jobs using the paid options above. Optimised Job Posts get over 6x more applicants than a Standard Job Post.

We also automatically index jobs from publicly advertised OceanTech employers and add them to the job board as standard indexed jobs.

What is an indexed job?

An indexed job is a job that you posted somewhere on the web (a careers page, LinkedIn, Indeed etc.) that we've automatically added to OceanTech Jobs. We do this for free for the OceanTech industry, to benefit the industry as a whole. Indexed jobs always appear as Standard Job Posts.

Why aren't all of our job openings showing on OceanTech Jobs?

Indexing is not straightforward, sometimes it takes a few days or so for our systems to find and add newly posted jobs, and sometimes they aren't found at all by our search tools. Indexing is a free service, and we can't and don't check to see if indexed jobs are missed. We can't do this manually, the industry is too big.

The best way to ensure that your job opening gets added to OceanTech Jobs is to post your jobs directly with our paid and optimised options, which typically will provide you with a lot more applicants.

I want to post my job as an Optimised post, but it has already been indexed and added to OceanTech Jobs as a Standard indexed post. Can we still post it?

Of course, and it will help you get more applicants if you do. If you'd like us to remove the duplicate standard indexed post, no problem, just contact us and we'll gladly help.

You can keep the duplicate post in there if you like, it might help a little with discoverability.

We have a lot of jobs to post, can we have a discount?

There are already several Featured Companies, will there be room for our company on the homepage if we become a Featured Company too?

The display order of Featured Companies is randomised each time the homepage loads to make sure every Featured Company gets an equal share of impressions (you can test this by going to the home page and refreshing). We also only allow a maximum number of companies to be featured at any one time, to ensure each company gets a significant share of the action.

How can I get our company logo on job posts?

You should be able to upload your company logo when you create your first job posting, and the system should remember it for your future roles. If that doesn't work out, contact us and we'll do it for you.
