Channel Ship Services Limited (CSS) is seeking dedicated and skilled Offshore ROV Personnel to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating and supervising Remotely Operated Vehicles (ROVs) during various offshore projects, ensuring efficient and safe operations.
We are looking for ROV PT's and Supervisors expeirenced with FCV or Seaeye ROV vehicles.
Responsibilities
- Operate ROVs for subsea inspections, surveys, and maintenance tasks
- Ensure the safe and efficient deployment and recovery of ROV systems
- Conduct pre-operation checks on ROV equipment to ensure functionality and safety
- Monitor ROV performance during operations and troubleshoot any issues that arise
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure successful project execution and adherence to project timelines
- Provide real-time data and video feedback to project engineers and clients
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety protocols, and operational procedures
- Assist in the maintenance and upkeep of ROV equipment and support systems
- Participate in training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge
Requirements
- Experience operating ROV systems in offshore environments
- Familiarity with ROV technology and associated equipment
- Proven experience in subsea operations, inspections, and surveys
- Strong technical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to read and interpret subsea plans and specifications
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in work
- Understanding of safety regulations and best practices in offshore environments
- Flexibility to work in remote locations and offshore settings
- Valid driver's license and passport
- Offshore certification and training (e.g., BOSIET, ROV pilot course) are preferred
- Ability to work long hours and adapt to changing schedules as required
