Project Manager - Onshore
The Project Manager has a critical, role reporting to the Operations Manager and working closely with the tender and offershore team. You will ensure the safe, efficient, and high-quality execution of projects.
Working within a matrix organisation, you will be responsible for ensuring projects are properly planned, resourced and executed against agreed criteria (KPIs, SLAs), most importantly those associated with cost & schedule.
You will be the primary point of contact for all internal & external project stakeholders, providing up-to-date project information as required. Promoting the interests of the business, you will adopt a sound approach to risk management that prioritises safety & quality in everything we do, leading by example and embodying the company’s values whilst maximising the profitability of projects under their management.
Objectives & Responsibilities:

- Promote company values & Health and safety culture by acting as a champion for quality & operational excellence initiatives ensuring quality
- Lead & manage the technical solution for proposed projects including equipment, vessel & methodology. Communicating changes are communicated to all stakeholders
- Lead & manage the development of the project plan and execution strategy from tender and inception to project mobilisation, providing subject matter expertise, oversite and co-ordinating input required from various stakeholders
- Initiate the Risk opportunity register and capture of key items
- Build cost schedules and completing the necessary contractual documentation in line with commercial service level agreements
- Lead & manage project planning being accountable for coordination of project planning activities across departments
- Provide key information on project resource requirements working with resource owners (e.g. ROV & Survey) within agreed timeframes
- Review budget and implement project cost book working with the Project Accountant
- Being accountable for the correct preparation, dissemination & compliance with HSEQ documentation, processes & procedures on the project in conjunction with the HSEQ team
- Engage and manage project-specific suppliers, ensuring successful delivery and risk mitigation
- Maintain close collaboration with clients, managing delivery, scope variations, and payment schedules
- Identify operational challenges and drive continuous improvement initiatives within the business
- Be an ambassador for the implementation of technology on Rovco projects

- Significant project management experience leading and managing cross-functional technical teams, including ROV and hydrographic survey operations.
- Qualification in Project / programme management (APM or equivalent) or Hydrographic Surveying or related discipline (or significant relevant experience).
- Demonstrated experience managing complex offshore projects
- Valid GWO training, OGUK medical and BOSIET certification.
- Advanced knowledge of ROV survey data acquisition, reporting, and processing.
- Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to resolve issues offshore.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in dynamic environments.
- Commitment to continuous improvement and operational excellence.
