Main Responsibilities
- Assist the Project Manager in planning, executing, and finalizing SSR projects according to strict deadlines and within budget. This includes acquiring resources and coordinating the efforts of team members and third-party contractors or consultants to deliver projects according to plan.
- Provide expert technical support in the deployment, operation, and maintenance of SSRs, ensuring high performance and reliability of the vessels.
- Prepare and maintain detailed project documentation, technical reports, and progress updates for internal and external stakeholders.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineers, technicians, and operational staff, to ensure seamless project handovers to operational teams.
- Continuously seek opportunities to improve SSR capabilities and operational efficiencies, contributing to Rovco's reputation as an industry leader in innovation.
- Ensure all project activities comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations and best practices.
You should apply if you have:
Essential:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, marine science, project management, or a related field.
- Proven experience in project management within the marine, offshore, or renewable energy sectors.
- Proficiency in marine engineering principles, autonomous systems, and project management tools. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot technical issues effectively.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing project requirements and priorities. Willingness to travel internationally as needed.
Desirable:
- Knowledge of ASVs, ROVs and/or AUV operations is highly desirable.
