Description
As Vice President of Operations at Ocean Charge, you will lead and manage the entire Operations Department, encompassing Field Operations, Pre-Sales Engineering, Project Management, Service Delivery, and Customer Experience. This executive role is critical in scaling our operational capabilities and processes, aiming to achieve the key operational milestone of passing 1000 parking spaces per month initially and escalating to 1000 parking spaces per week.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Operations Management: Develop and implement strategies for scaling operations to meet growth targets, while ensuring operational excellence across all departments.
Team Leadership and Development: Lead a diverse team, fostering a culture of performance and continuous improvement. Ensure the professional development of team members aligns with departmental and company goals.
Process Optimisation: Continuously assess and refine operational processes to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and improve service delivery.
Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with senior management and external partners to align operational strategies with overall business objectives.
Metrics and Performance: Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for each operational area, ensuring targets are met and exceeded.

Requirements
Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field. A Master's degree is preferred.
Professional Experience: Minimum of 10 years in operational leadership roles, with at least 5 years in a senior management position within a related industry.
Proven Track Record: Evidence of successfully scaling operations to meet significant growth phases.
Project Management: Extensive experience in project management methodologies and tools.
Technology Skills: Proficiency in modern operational technologies and software platforms.
Bonus Points
Experience with SiteTracker: Previous experience utilising SiteTracker or similar project management tools to oversee and manage large-scale infrastructure projects.
Industry Expertise: Deep knowledge of the electric vehicle (EV) charging sector, including familiarity with regulatory and technological developments.
International Experience: Experience managing operations across different geographical regions, which is valuable for potential future international expansion.
Sustainability Initiatives: Proven track record in implementing sustainable practices and technologies within operations to enhance environmental and corporate responsibility.
Innovative Problem-Solving: Demonstrated ability to drive innovation within operations, particularly in optimising processes and integrating new technologies.
Crisis Management: Experience in handling operational crises effectively, ensuring minimal disruption to service and rapid recovery.
Network Development: Established relationships with key stakeholders in the energy, technology, or real estate sectors that could be leveraged to accelerate business goals.
